Setbacks :(

December 11th, 2007

Unfortunately, we’ve had to set our launch data back 9 days to Boxing Day. The features aren’t quite to a stage yet where we want users using them. So we’ll plough along and aim for Boxing Day. In the meantime we’ve had Repepeat’s promotional postcards made which are below.

Repepeat Postcard Front

The postcard was produced by Tim Hards who has a very very fast turn around time - in this case it was in the order of hours. So check out his website if you need some graphic design.

So until next time have fun!

Affiliates a Welcome!

December 3rd, 2007

Well things are progressing along on the Repepeat.com front quite nicely. We have started a new affiliates program so that you guys and girls can get a cut of the action. Were offering you 20% of the Repepeat sales for bands that you sign up! If you are interested, visit http://home.repepeat.com/aboutrepepeat/?page=affiliates . Anyway, must get back to making Repepeat the best online media distribution service ;)

Ciao,

Cards and a little hacking

November 27th, 2007

The Pink Hat Media business cards finally arrived today - really pleased with them :). Other than that, at this very moment Simon is making the final modifications to our CD Label Printer, as we modified it to use a continuous ink system rather than expensive cartridges. Basically what that means is that theres an ink cable hanging out of it which were recessing into the printer (ie. cutting the plastic) - I might post some pictures of the “modifications” next time.

Until next time - have fun!

Repepeat Pre-Signup

November 18th, 2007

Well its been a busy few days getting everything for the Repepeat Pre-Signup. So whats a Pre-Signup for, I hear you ask… Basically it just allows you to signup in advance so that you receive updates and on the day of the final release, you’ll be able to go right ahead and start selling your CDs.

Repepeat was created as a division of Pink Hat Media. Pink Hat Media duplicate large runs of CDs for corporate customers and organisations in general. Whereas Repepeat was specifically created for the music artist.

Repepeat has been in the pipeline for around a year now. We’re just putting the finishing touches on it. The heart and soul of Repepeat is the Repepeat Designer, which is a piece of Flash software (written in Adobe Flex.) It allows you to upload all of your music and cover art, and easily put it together into a CD you can sell.

Anyway, I am out of things to tell you for this first blog - leave a comment about what you would like to hear about Pink Hat Media in coming blogs.

Cheers,
Bowdie Mercieca,
Pink Hat Media.
